Asking

Surah Al-Fatiha is the surah we Muslims around the world recite first in our prayers, it sets the foundational rules for asking Allah

1. We learn who is our God by the attributes described in the first three ayaats.
2. We submit to Him by worshiping Him alone and asking Him alone.
3. First thing that we ask Him is the guidance to the straight path.
4. We learn what we get as a result of being guided to the straight path.

While the initial ayaats of the Surah teach us whom we submit to and how we do so, the ayat here (1:6) shows what should we ask first
